Do fabrics from Luum Textiles meet Contract standards?
All fabrics from Luum Textiles have been tested and meet or exceed the appropriate ACT (Association for Contract Textiles) physical performance standards for their intended end use. Technical test data is shown on the back of each binder card. As ACT changes and improves tests and criteria, Luum tests and updates published information.

Have fabrics from Luum Textiles been tested for specific furniture applications?
All fabrics from Luum Textiles have been tested for application in their appropriate category, on representative furniture. i.e. upholstery, panel, wall products. Contact Luum Textiles Customer Service at 1-877-705-LUUM (1-877-705-5886) for additional information and assistance.

Are there other finish treatments available for Luum Textiles?

Are samples available?
Yes. 9”x9” memo samples are available for each product. Navigate to the product page and select “Memo Sample”, indicate the required quantity, add it to your cart and check out as normal. If a memo of every colorway for a particular pattern is required, please select “Full Memo Set”.

All samples are free and are shipped standard freight free of charge for qualified customers. Standard freight is ground delivery. There is an option to expedite the freight (overnight, for example) at customer’s own cost. This option is in the Shipping Method step of the check out procedure, prior to payment information and order submission. Payment can be made by credit card on the website.

Note: Clients may be pre-qualified and there will be a restriction to a quantity 5 of the same sample SKU and an overall limit to 30 samples per order.

Are there minimum order requirements?
Yes, the Minimum Order for Cut Yardage is 1 (one) yard. The Minimum Order for Leather is 45 square feet.

What kind of account do I need?
Luum Textiles offers two types of accounts, based on method of payment; Credit Card payment account; or Purchase Order payment account.

To pay by Credit Card online, no credit application process is required. Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted. Set up an account with us by clicking on “Sign Up” in the main menu, provide your details and determine a password. Shop, fill your cart and pay with a credit card at check out. No Customer Number is required for this kind of account. Your login and password are enough.

NOTE​: Luum Textiles is unable to accept credit card information over the phone due to our security policy. Some special circumstances cannot be done through the website: If you have tax exemption certificates to register with us, or will be interested in applying special finishes on our products, then please apply for a Purchase Order payment account.

To pay by Purchase Order, you must apply for a credit account with us and have a valid Luum Textiles Customer Number. To learn more about this process, please click here

How do I sign up?
Click on “Menu” on the top right of the page and choose “Sign Up” from the menu. You will be prompted to enter your name, email address, business type, business name and indicate if you wish to apply for credit.

How do I register my tax exemption status?
Please include tax exemption certificates with your credit application when you apply for a credit account. Tax exemption certificates are registered to your account. If you did not do this during your account setup process, please contact Customer Service at 1-877-705-5886, so we can register the certificates.

How do I get a refund for tax that I paid on a credit card order if I have an exemption certificate?
Refunds for credit card orders where tax exemption proof is provided take 3-5 business days. Please call Customer Service at 1-877-705-5886 with your order number and tax exemption certificates on hand. We will work with you to refund the tax value.

NOTE: for future orders - Orders where tax exemption exists are best placed with a Purchase Order payment account because tax exemption certificates can be registered to your account in jurisdictions that apply. Please call customer service in order to apply for this type of account at 1-877-705-5886.

I forgot my account password. How can I recover it?
At the top right of the website, click “My Account”. Under “Returning Customers”, click on the “Forgot your password?” link. You will be prompted to fill in your email address and will be sent instructions for resetting your password.

How do I check on my order status?
You will receive periodic emails indicating the status of your order. If you would like to see up-to-date status, click the "My Account" link in the top right hand menu of the Luum Textiles website. From there, login, and your list of current orders will be available.

When will I receive my order?
In-stock products are processed and leave our facility within 2 business days of receiving your order. Depending on the final ship to destination the product can take between 3-6 business days to arrive after receiving an order confirmation email. For additional enquiries, please contact customer service at 1-877-705-5886. If an ordered product is out of stock, Customer Service will contact you and arrange an appropriate ship date.

How will my order be delivered?
Textiles are shipped via FedEx. A tracking number via FedEx will be provided.Shipping and handling charges are based on the weight and size of your order. The delivery costs are based on FedEx shipping & handling charges.

Does Luum deliver to locations outside of North America?
We currently ship only to addresses within Canada and the United States. For additional inquiries about shipments for global customers, please contact Luum Textiles Customer Service at 1-877-705-5886 in Canada & the U.S. or 919-464-2922

Who do I contact to inquire about special orders?
If you would like to inquire about specials or customs, please call Luum Textiles customer service at 1-877-705-LUUM (1-877-705-5886) in the U.S. and Canada.

What happens if I need to change or cancel an order?
Please contact us immediately, as we will accommodate if feasible. If the product has already been cut, then changes or cancellations are not possible. All cancellation requests will be handled through Customer Service at 1-877-705-LUUM (1-877-705-5886). Approvals for returns are at the sole discretion of Luum Textiles. Cancellations are valid only upon issuance of a cancellation number. Cancellations are subject to 35% restocking fee. We do not accept any returns or exchanges on final sale products and discontinued items.

What is the returns policy?
Luum Textiles stands behind the products we sell. If there is a problem with any order, contact Customer Service at 1-877-705-LUUM (1-877-705-5886) within ten (10) days of receipt of the fabric. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will work with you to correct it.

How are taxes charged?
When placing your order, we estimate sales tax based upon the jurisdiction of the shipping address. All sales tax calculations are subject to revision and are recalculated on the day your order is shipped. Many jurisdictions require that we collect sales tax on shipping charges. If you are tax exempt and have sent us a tax-exempt certificate for the ship-to jurisdiction, taxes will not be charged. Tax exemptions are applicable for orders received by Purchase Order only.

Are tariffs or duties added to my order?
All tariffs and duties are included in the per yard price.

Is the Luum Textiles website secure?
Luum has taken measures to ensure that the data you give us is secure and protected against misuse. Your login and address information is stored in a secure server that is audited by a third party security company. Luum Textiles does not store your credit information on its site and all transactions are made over a secure Internet connection using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology.
